Module IV:

Nutrient management

In this module we will show the nutrients that are essential for a rice plant to grow and develop normally. Information on the symptoms the plant shows if it misses a certain nutrient is also given so that you can identify possible nutrient problems in the field.

We'll have a look at organic and  inorganic (NPK) fertilizer and how much of it you need to apply on the field, for irrigated rice as well as for rainfed rice areas.
